Nokia Lumia Windows RT Tablet Release Date
Nokia’a long talked-about Windows RT tablet is now set to make its debut in 2013. According to a report posted by The Verge, Nokia Windows RT tablet will come with a 10.1 inch display, HDMI and USB ports.
It will also have a 10-hour capacity and a fast charging feat boosting the battery capacity to 50% in just a short span.
Speculations about Nokia Windows RT tablet further state that AT&T will bring the cellular connectivity for it. AT&T will supposedly be the first U.S carrier to stock Nokia Windows RT tablet.
If believed the conjectures around, Nokia is focusing the most on its battery equipped cover. Finnish Company Nokia is planning to release a special cover which may envelope the Windows RT tablet like a book. This special cover has a built-in battery along with a kickstand and a keyboard for the tablet. It also has two USB ports providing additional connectivity options for tablet.
Nokia will reportedly start with a small number of tablets and will build a potential Windows 8 device later. The first tablet from Nokia will come up in the market with ARM chip and Windows RT as its operating system.
Nokia initially had plans to build a batch of 200,000 units but for now the Company is re-accessing the figure seeing the decreasing demand of Windows RT tablets in the market.
This Windows RT tablet from Nokia will be unveiled at one of the biggest tech fest ‘Mobile World Congress’ which will held in Barcelona in February 2013.
