The release involves four models, including box-type cameras and dome cameras, namely, 1.3MP WDR HD IPC(IPC-HF3101), 1.3MP WDR IR HD IPC (IPC-HFW3101C), 1.3MP WDR HD Vandal-proof IP dome camera (IPC-HDB3101) and 1.3MP WDR HD Vandal-proof IR IP dome camera. Compared with conventional network cameras, this series WDR IPCs reach the wide dynamic range of 128dB, thus become the optimal choices for locations with strong lighting-contrast, such as entrances of garage, lobbies, parking lots and etc.

Adopting 1/3-inch 1.3Megapixel PS CMOS image sensor and advanced DSP technology, the cameras render superb image quality with great color reduction, even in low light environment. Speaking of which, its minimum illumination is 0.1Lux@F1.2 in color mode and 0.0005Lux@F1.2 in B/W mode. With realtime recording capacity at max. 1.3Megapixel (1280x960) resolution, the IP cameras also support dual-stream encoding, which allows video stream to be separately transmitted for different purposes. Moreover, the built-in SD card design removes the inconvenience incurred by internet interruption and some customized functions as dual power supply, PoE, Wi-Fi, and etc. are rendered as well. Dahua network cameras are all conform to Onvif.

Specifically, IPC-HF3101 uses classic design with industrial standard C/CS port adopted and IPC-HFW3101C is bullet-designed with IP66 ingress protection, which can be used outdoor. What’s more, the ICR technology and its IR LEDs (20m) together make the camera also quite suitable for night/dark surveillance. Structurally, the device is equipped with bracket on default, which simplifies the installation. In addition, its focal lens ranges from 2.8mm to 12mm with an angle of view from 92°~27.2°, satisfying the wide-range surveillance application. As for the domes, which are modular-designed, meaning components are more flexible yet coordinative. The cameras also gave some consideration to the cable design for the users’ sake. It puts cable interfaces inside the dome, which saves installation trouble and manual labor as well as keeps the dome more elegant in appearance.

Peter, the product manager of Dahua Technology said: “the WDR network camera series is what we planned and worked for a long time, and I believe that our customers will be excited to have cameras that are of such good performance at this reasonable price.”
