"One Sensor, Many Possibilities"
TheD-Fence Strain Gauge Sensor
is the heart and soul of our Perimeter Protection and Intrusion Detection
Systems. Made from reinforced stainless steel, the sensor is very robust and comes with a lifetime guarantee. The sensor is located at the sensor/support posts and physically hold/carries the fence moddules or wires. It detects any attempt to climb or cut the fence when changes at a 2 Kg. resolution are applied to it.
Principle of
Operation The resistance of the strain gage changes relative to the distortion of the sensor caused by load changes and The signal processing unit analyzes the signal including its velocity and using imbedded algorithms decides if the signal is an alarm. |
||||
Detection
Capabilities The resistance of the strain gauge sensor changes regardless of the direction (axis) of the force / load applied onto the fence modules and onto the support posts. |
||||
Fence Signal Processing
Unit The Fence Signal Processing Unit Analyzes the signal from the sensors and converts them from analog signals to digital signals. It carries out Bi-directional communication with a dedicated control centerand can accommodate up to 32 sensors / 16 frame modules. The imbedded micro-controller continuously monitors the electronic resistance of the sensors. It comes with Dry contacts for integration with other security systems and also has lightning protection. |
