Ascendent‘s 2MPVRD-2812 camera is powered by a 1/3” 2.2 Megapixel progressive-scan CMOS sensor integrated with a 2.8-12mm lens to renders images with accurate color reproduction and clarity. Not only does it produce high resolution images, it also boasts an industry leading 30 frames at 1080p resolution. The progressive-scan, in tandem with the H.264B compression, eliminates motion blur for crystal clear images making the 2MPVRD-2812 the clear choice for security professionals.

Intelligent Light Control

The 2MPVRD-2812 cameras have a number of technologies such as Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), Highlight Compensation (HLC), Targeted Backlight Compensation (TBL), and variable shutter speeds. Ascendent’s cameras are intelligent and can be customized via user defined zones. This allows the installers to have complete control of how the camera responds to light ensuring the best image possible. For example, if there is a bright light source it will overexpose a large part of the image which leads to loss of detail. Our technology allows you to target these bright areas specifically, without darkening the whole image, so the video retains the maximum amount of detail.

Fully Featured

The 2MPVRD-2812 is a fully functioning IP device allowing video to be distributed over wired and wireless WAN and LAN networks. The 2MPVRD-2812 network camera supports sub-stream and mainstream features which means you can record 1080p resolution at one location and D1 resolution at another. It has integrated VBR and CBR with user-selectable bit rate and frame integration giving you total control over the amount of data and bandwidth usage. The MVRD-2MP comes with Ascendent’s X4 64ch NVR platform. Our platform is designed to be ubiquitous by utilizing over 20 of the most common streaming and communication protocols including but not limited to; HTTPS, TCP/IP, RTSP, SMTP, FTP and ONIVF which ensure seamless integration with 3rd party NVR, VMS and NAS devices.
