The lightning protection system is designed to attract lightning to a preferred point and safely convey the lightning energy to the ground with minimal risk of side flashing via a pre-determined route.

The complete lightning protection system will comprise the following key components:

During thunderstorm, the dual thrust design of Storming ESE Air Terminal enables it to launch a faster and stronger upward streamer. This captures the lightning more efficiently and provides an enhanced area of protection. The captured lightning at a preferred point is then conducted to a dedicated earthing via low impedance conductor.

FRP Supporting Mast is used to supporting air terminal at a specific height. Fibreglass reinforced pole (FRP) mast is an insulated and water-resistant mounting pole which is designed to provide the mounting strength at the position where the high voltage upper termination between the down conductor and air terminal is completed.

Lightning Strike Recorder, also known as a Lightning Strike counter, records the number of lightning strikes captured by the Terminal. The LSR is designed for easy mounting at any location along the route of down conductor. It is enclosed in IP 67 enclosure.

GI Pipe Electrode having a primary outer electrode and a second inner electrode. The gap between primary & secondary electrode is filled with a conductive material. Ground resistance Lowering Compound is used in surrounding to the primary electrode to absorb moisture from the surrounding soil and maintain constant ohmic value.
