The Technology and Development is changing rapidly now a days. The clarity and Storing Data Media improved lot in CCTV Security Surveillance. Camera and recording concept is changed to intelligence. Software driven Camera analyse the situation and alert as per the requirements. Due to some reason, I was away from writing and sharing information, Hope I can do right now. CCTV Camera quality increased rapidly in last three years. 4K Resolution came in to the field of security. Star Light IR performing well.

I am just sharing some information about IP Camera field. A huge change witnessed in it after ONVIF introduction. Connectivity become very simple. Just like very Common Camera brand like Hikvision, and high end Cameras like Pelco, Honeywell and many brands accepted the change bring good for Security Automation field. EASY TO INSTALL

IP based CCTV solution makes the installation easy and secure. From traditional Power cabling and Data cabling given way to Power over Ethernet technology. Single cable will do data and power transmission. It reduce overall cost of cabling and management of communication between Recorders / Server/ Cloud with Camera.

IP Camera is useful advanced usage like video Analytics / ANPR (Automatic Number Plate recognition). Because the data is digital and it easy for analytics.  IP Camera with Video Analytics reduce overall usage of Camera, as per the situation. It will explain later editions of this blog.

IP Camera only economic, if the number of Camera is more. The equipment cost is much higher compare to Analogue based CCTV System.

Every one knows CCTV Installation is a labour-intensive effort that requires an Ethernet cable and a power plug for the camera.

With the PoE based System or POE NVR, you only need an Ethernet cable to connect the IP camera and NVR.

Several fixed cameras have to be installed to cover the entire store. The whole shop is covered by one fisheye camera, reducing time and labor costs.

Stores often have existing down lights or at least designated areas for these lights. Using a recessed-mount dome, these spaces can be utilized without any re-work or construction.

Once a camera is installed, adjusting the lens is difficult.

With a PT (pan-tilt) camera, you can control the direction of the lens with a mouse.
